Principal's Message

Welcome to Fairmeadows Elementary!

My name is Cesar Quintero, and I am honored to serve as the principal of Fairmeadows Elementary School. Born in Ocampo, Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, I learned early the importance of hard work, perseverance, and staying true to one’s values. Growing up in a close-knit community taught me that education is not just a pathway—it is a transformative experience. This belief continues to guide my work as an educator and leader.

With experience serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, I have had the privilege of witnessing the incredible journey of a child’s growth—from their first steps into the classroom to their final steps across the graduation stage. My years as a teacher, instructional leader, and principal have strengthened my belief that every student deserves to be known, challenged, and inspired. I view schools as living communities where collaboration, trust, and high expectations allow both students and adults to thrive.

Beyond my passion for education, I have always enjoyed working with my hands—whether through landscaping, carpentry, auto mechanics, or even dentistry. Each craft has taught me patience, creativity, and the pride that comes from building something meaningful. My greatest mentor and professor was and continues to be my father, who often reminded me, “Nomas ponte las pilas.” He taught me the beauty of learning something from everything and showed me that every task, no matter how small, holds value when approached with curiosity and purpose. That belief continues to shape how I lead and how I help others discover the joy of lifelong learning.

I am a proud Texas Tech Red Raider committed and grateful to lead Fairmeadows with heart, integrity, and high expectations while fostering a campus where learning is joyful, and everyone feels empowered to reach their full potential. As I often remind our students and staff: “Discover your why. Learn it. Live it. Love it.”

Educationally yours,
